Dr. Gary Badcock, Associate Professor, Theology
Gary Badcock's research ranges across a variety of fields in Christian thought, including ethics (he has written a book on the concept of vocation) and public theology. His research in the latter area includes essays on the Afghanistan conflict, HIV-AIDS, and the place of religion in Canada, with particular reference to the Canadian Charter. He is currently the North American representative on the Steering Committee of the Global Network for Public Theology, and is co-founder of Huron's own Centre for Public Theology.
