Transition Sessions for New Students
Students must accept an offer of admission at Huron University College to register for a transition session.
If you have not accepted your offer please go to http://www.ouac.on.ca and sel ect "Undergraduate Applications" in the navigation bar on the left. Follow the step by step instructions on the website.
I've accepted my offer - now what?
After accepting an offer of admission to Huron University College students are required to sign-up for a June or July transition session.

It is our goal to help first-year students get connected, learn more about Huron and Western, and meet members of our community before they start school in September. At the half-day Transition Session you will:
· Select your courses
· Create a course timetable and register for your courses
· Learn about Huron and Western services, the campus and university life
· Take a campus and residence tour
· Meet staff and faculty
· Meet other first-year students
Note: Students who live outside of Ontario are welcome to book an online or phone appointment with an academic counsellor to complete their Transition Session. Contact Academic Counselling at (519) 438-7224 ext. 244 in early-mid June to schedule your appointment (times are available beginning in late-June).
Note: Schedule your Transition Session early in the summer to increase your freedom and flexibility in course selection and timetabling. Students will be sent a Registration Guide in early-mid June to prepare you for your Transition Session.
Timeline leading up to Transition Sessions
Early-Mid June: Keep your eye on the mail for your Registration Package. Use this to prepare for your Transition Session.
A couple days before your Transition Session: Check your email for a parking pass, directions and a detailed schedule. Please register for your session as soon as possible. Space in each session is lim ited and dates can fill up.

To change your session time, fill out the form again and make a note in the "Comments" section. If you need to change your session time within 48 hours of your scheduled session, please contact Lauren directly.
