The Department of French and Asian Studies offers programs for students interested in learning about other languages, literatures, and cultures. The Department offers several different modules of study leading to the Honors BA and the BA as well as Minor modules for students who wish to combine language study with other programs at Huron. Exchange programs with universities in France, Japan, and China provide opportunities for students to immerse themselves in the study of language and culture.
Classes are taught exclusively by highly-qualified and experienced professors (not teaching assistants) and the small number of students in each class is the key to successful language learning.
