The Centre for Global Studies offers degree modules in three streams of study: Globalization Studies Global Development Studies and Global Culture Studies. It is possible to pursue an Honours Specialization, Specialization, Major, or Minor degree in each of them. Each degree module requires students to complete some courses of specific interest to its particular stream of study, in terms of core perspectives of analysis, research methods, and topics. However, students in each stream of study and at each module level have considerable freedom to satisfy degree requirements in taking Global Studies courses from across the range of the Centre's offerings and from other academic departments as well. Ideally, all Global Studies students are exposed to an interplay of the ideas and content of interests specific to each stream of study.
