A conditional offer of admission can be made on 6 courses for a one-year CEGEP and 12-18 courses for a two-year CEGEP. Applicants from CEGEP who have completed a full DEC may be eligible for advanced credit.
Early conditional offers of admission may be made to applicants with exceptional grades in grade 11, or in one full completed term of grade 12 coursework with registration in additional courses to meet minimum requirements for your province, including any required courses. Additional conditional offers will continue to be made as more grade information is provided. Applicants are encouraged to send transcripts (directly to the Admissions Office at Huron) for review as soon as they have completed one full term/semester.
Self Reported Grades Form
Applicants who have completed the first term of grade 12 may use this form to submit their grades. Please note that final grades will be required from their secondary school in July. All conditions for admission must be met.
Students who complete the IB Diploma in addition to their Secondary School Diploma will first be assessed for admission based on their grade 12 academic courses, as reported through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre. It is the responsibility of the student to send the IB Diploma scores directly to the Admissions Office at Huron University College.
Requirements for Applicants Completing an IB Diploma
• IB Diploma with a minimum of six subjects (including a minimum of three at the higher level);
• A minimum score of 26, with no less than a 4 on any subject;
• Any required courses specific to the program of study (see chart below);
• Transfer credit to be considered on a case-by-case basis for students presenting grades of 5 or better on higher level subjects.
Final grade of 4 or 5 is required to grant credit.
Huron University College will grant a maximum of two credits.

Applicants who do not meet the minimum academic requirements for admission to the university may be eligible for consideration as mature students if they meet the mature applicant requirements. Failure to account for all post secondary work attempted may result in the cancellation of admission and/or registration.
Mature students are normally considered for part-time admission (maximum of three full courses between September and April).
