Gain critical knowledge and skills for understanding the way religious and theological issues have evolved and continue to influence contemporary life and culture, in a context that encourages discussion, reflection, and research.


Study comparative religion, philosophy, theology, ethics, history, and Biblical Studies in a university context.  This four-year Western University degree (three-year with special permission) can be combined with another module from the Faculty of Arts and Social Science, in addition to the Major below which you select.

    • Theology 1020E  (in September 2013, substitute with Religious Studies 1010g, plus 4.5 elective courses from other faculties)
    • Theology 1020E  (in September 2013, substitute with Religious Studies 1010g, plus 4.5 elective courses from other faculties)
    • 4.0 elective courses from other faculties (First-year courses (1000-1999) should be from at least 4 different subjects; and from at least two different categories: "A" Social Science, etc., "B" Art & Humanities, Languages, and "C" Sciences)
    (A minimum of 5.0 courses and maximum of 7.0 courses may be numbered 1000-1999, throughout your B.Th. degree; courses should be picked from at least two different faculties.)
